3700A is high-density triple modular redundant analog input module developed for Triconex Tricon safety system, dedicated to collecting critical process analog signals from transmitters in ESD emergency shutdown, F&G fire & gas detection and BMS burner management safety loops.
It adopts standard TMR triple independent signal acquisition channels with 2oo3 voting logic, each channel independently samples field analog signals, and the internal voter compares three groups of sampling data to eliminate single-point hardware failure risks, realizing bumpless fault-tolerant signal collection without system shutdown.
The module integrates 32 differential DC-coupled input channels without per-channel galvanic isolation, compatible with two mainstream signal types: 0-5VDC voltage transmitters and 4-20mA current transmitters (matched with external shunt resistors to convert current signals into voltage signals). The 12-bit high-precision AD conversion chip ensures full-scale accuracy less than 0.15%FS, meeting high-precision measurement demands of temperature, pressure, liquid level and flow transmitters in hazardous process industries.
The module occupies single slot of Tricon standard I/O chassis, fully supports online hot-swap replacement without cutting off rack power supply, communicates with TMR main processor via redundant TriBus high-speed backplane bus, and realizes real-time data upload and channel fault diagnosis.
